October 3 - 6, 2024
Arrive Thursday evening in time for introductions and a couple of icebreakers. Sunday we will celebrate with a champagne brunch before checking out.

Where?

Oxford, Pennsylvania - Just 12 miles north of I-95 about halfway between Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Don’t worry, we’ll arrange for transportation from the BWI or the Philadelphia airport and/or the Newark, DE train station

(Feel free to check out the photos of our retreat house!)

Who?

Only 10 women - max! - We’ve intentionally designed this retreat as a small group experience exclusively for women who are seeking personal empowerment.

  • Connecting with other women who are in a similar place can be incredibly empowering. Small groups in this format can generate a sense of support and act as a sounding board. They can mirror our own challenges in a way that allows us to see ourselves for the first time. While it may sound somewhat intimidating, the research is clear; small group interactions can propel personal growth to new heights.

  • As a licensed therapist, Leslyn specializes in teaching people how to see themselves honestly and without judgment. The building blocks of self awareness are a big part of this retreat. You will investigate your values, your mindset, your emotions, and what those things bring into your daily life. We’ll move from there to self acceptance, learning to see things as they are. And then, self love. The seeds for true change will be planted and you will leave with skills to build upon and an understanding of how to enhance your self discovery journey.

  • Leslyn will introduce elements of mindfulness and meditation for the naysayer and the beginner. Breathwork and Guided imagery will also be introduced and practiced. You’ll learn how these disciplines can change anger into calm, anxiety into peace, and stress into ease.

  • Over the course of two and a half days, there will be plenty of group, partnered, and one-on-one sharing. The breadth and scope of the disclosure and conversation will be determined solely by your comfort level. Reflection time is built into the syllabus so that you can digest the presented information privately if you choose and get clarity when needed.

I’m Leslyn, Your Host.

I’ve always believed that there is a lesson or some element of value in each experience if only we take time to look for it. My lessons include life challenges highlighted by being widowed – twice; a challenging divorce; periods of unemployment; raising children as a single mother; and facing financial hardships.

Today, I’m a mental health practitioner, personal growth coach, and author with a passion to help others.
